I am creating a petition to save the Brown Pelicans, State Bird of Louisiana from becoming endangered by the BP oil spill. So far more than 50% of the pelicans captured that were covered in oil have died. BP has not done anything to fix this problem and neither has our government. Please sign my petition so these amazing creatures will not become extinct.

Greetings,

I created this petition to help the Brown Pelican, the state bird of Louisiana from the BP oil spill. These poor birds are going to become extinct if something isn't done. BP has hardly done anything for this situation and something needs to be done. I hope that if people speak up and sign my petition that our government will realize that they need to put their foot down and fix the situation. Please save the beloved animals.
