The budget bill is about more than dollars and cents. Bill C-38 contains too many elements that should not be approved in one bill, such as the following:
- abolishing the Fair Wages and Hours of Labour Act, which will reduce people's wages;
- changing employment insurance to force people to accept unsuitable positions;
- deleting 280,000 immigration applications; and
- giving U.S. federal agents jurisdiction in Canada.

Please support this petition and write your MP asking him/her to vote no on the bill. According Tory MP David Wilks, who also feels this bill should be split, we only need 13 Tory MPs to vote against the bill to be successful.
