    1. The President of the United States

After President Obama was elected, he said of a college football playoff, “I'm going to throw my weight around a little bit. I think it's the right thing to do.”

He was right.

Fans of college football have been calling for a playoff for years and it is the right thing to do. College football’s current BCS system is unfair not only in the way it determines a national champion, but in the way revenue is distributed. Further, the current BCS postseason system breeds corruption.

A college football playoff will generate far more revenue and this money could be used to help many fiscally-strapped colleges and universities. The current system is actually costing taxpayers. The NCAA clearly can’t solve its postseason problem on its own.

It is time for change.

At the beginning of the 20th Century, President Theodore Roosevelt convened the nation’s top minds and helped fix college football. It’s a new century and college football needs to be fixed again.

Take action today. Call on President Obama to convene the top educational and sports leaders and figure out how to solve this mess.

Just Playoff.
