Each Advent season we mark the birth of Jesus by lighting candles. This act does more than symbolize the hope that Jesus’ arrival brings, it also reminds us of our responsibility to share that light with others (Isaiah 42:6). It is up to us to honor that obligation and bring hope to the least fortunate among us.

Sign our petition and join our effort to help the 45 million Americans living in poverty today. This Advent season, stand with Catholic Charities USA and help us bring the light of hope to those who need it most.
