House "Climate Bill" is a disaster for American people and the world- another victory for coal, oil, agriculture and other industry lobbyists; no nuclear can be allowed!  The American Clean Energy and Security Act (HR 2454) includes only a 4% reduction in emissions, massive offsets which allow current pollution levels for years, huge giveaways to the worst polluters, and a new generation of nuclear and coal plants. This is totally unacceptable. The only way to avert catastrophic climate changes is for the Senate to strengthen this bill by reducing emissions to 25-40% below 1990 levels by 2010. Congress must agree to meet this science-based goal.
