Antionette Davis of Fayettville NC posted bail. In November of 2009 she was charged with Child trafficking and filing a false police report. Antionette Davis admitted that she sold 5 year old Shaniya Davis to Mario McNeal for drug money.  Mario then raped and killed Shaniya Davis and threw her little body out in a field of Kudzo. If not for Antionette Davis' actions, Shaniya would still be alive today.

My name is Angela Harris and I am one of thousands outraged over the fact that Antionette Davis was given a bond after admitting she sold her daughter to Mario McNeil who ultimately raped and killed 5-year old Shaniya Davis. The Cumberland County magistrate approved her release when Antionette's family and bail bondman presented a $5,000.00 bail money. Child abuse is a growing trend in our country and I believe that it is time to impose strict laws that will put fear into anyone considering causing harm to a child. I dont believe in communism, but crimes of this nature and magnitude should come with severe punishment. Our children need a voice because they are too small to help themselves. I also believe the standards put on bail for certain crimes needs to be adjusted because a drug dealer (which I am not in favor of) is more likely to get more time than a parent that has their child killed or kills their child. Its time to stop slapping these monsters on the wrist so they can get back into society and do the same thing again. I am requesting that Antionette Davis be re-arrested and charged with first degree murder, her actions led to Shaniya's death and she should be held equally accountable for her actions. As a tax paying citizen of NC I do not favor the fact that this little girl Shaniya Davis is not being given the justice she deserves and I think its time for our state leaders step up and support justice for Shaniya Davis. She was worth a lot more than $5,000.00. Please support Shaniya Davis' justice by signing this petition and put Antionette Davis back in prison where she belongs!!!
