Because homeless people have been so dehumanized in our cities, states and in our Nation.  We believe the need for equally fair treatment is long overdue.  In order to achieve the Equality these people in crisis so desperately deserve, we are going to have to address this issue from all perspectives, including the law.  We have to amend the existing non discrimination ordinance to include the most disenfranchised minorities.
