Update: Georgetown steamrolls through first round. Syracuse barely survives against 16th seed, with help from referees. 

 

Because Kris Joseph smoked the Hoyas for 29 points (including a game-winning three pointer), Jim Boeheim got his 880th win (putting him above Dean Smith!), and Scoop Jardine had eight assists and caused a game-changing turnover.
