The Memphis Airport Authority continue to deny that the tunnel walls holding up Runway 9/27 at Memphis International Airport are damaged.  Their official position is that there is a single "misaligned" wall somewhere in the tunnel.  The truth is there are five badly damaged walls and all damage is located directly below Runway 9/27.  The damage is being caused by the weight of the new runway crushing down upon the walls.  The tunnel cannot support the runway.

The FAA, FBI, TBI, TSA, DHS, DOT, and OSHA have all refused to even try to inspect the damage as is required by law.  FedEx Express, the FAA and the Memphis Airport Authority have conspired to keep the tunnel closed and the runway open so as not to affect their massive revenue flow of $40,000,000 a day.

This request is simple.  Open the tunnel to public inspection.  Allow journalists and independent structural engineers to determine if there is a single "misaligned" wall or if there are five badly damaged walls being crushed by the increased weight of the new runway.
