Why This Is Important

 

 

FILTH FM started in July 2010 as a small internet radio station with just one DJ. Today, filth.fm is one of the largest internet radio stations on the planet, with over 70 DJ's and 4,000 listeners locked in for the best in new underground music, every day.

 

FILTH FM wants to make the most of 2012, with plans to open a studio and bring you more unheard underground music, from artists all over the world. Since day one our long term goal has always been to become a fully-fledged FM radio station. We think it is time to achieving this goal.

 

By signing this petition you are supporting our goal, and most importantly, showing Ofcom how much you, the listeners, want to hear FILTH FM on the airwaves.

Dear Ofcom,
I have signed this petition urging you to grant FILTH FM an FM licence, allowing them to broadcast on FM airwaves in the UK. FILTH FM is one of the largest internet radio stations on the planet and one of the best at promoting new underground music. From bringing in new DJ’s to playing producers tracks, FILTH FM has helped build on the underground music scene, contributing massively to the growth and progression of Dubstep music. Promoting this station is helping new DJ’s in the community learn about radio, allowing them to perform to thousands of listeners every day. I think that FILTH FM not only deserves an FM license, but they can deliver unique, engaging content that I would like to hear on the FM airwaves.
