Chuck Swanick is currently running as a candidate in the Democratic Primary for the NYS Senate seat held by Republican Mark Grisanti. Swanick, who has opposed Marriage Equality in The Buffalo News, has also been endorsed by the Conservative Party-- and the National Organization for Marriage (NOM), the latter which is a group designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC.) Please take the time to let the NYS Senate Democratic Campaign Committee know how much you appreciate their hard work being the party of progress, change and equal rights for all-- and let them know that this anti-LGBT candidate does not share our Democratic values of equality.
