All people need treatment when ill or injured. Legislative proposals to fund health care should not include "economic punishment" in the form of the proposed "fines" on anyone who does not have "insurance". This defeats the purpose of providing health care for those who do not have incomes to provide it. A single payer non profit system is a valuable option for 'uninsured" low income, unemployed, multliple "part time position" employed, and small business employed Americans. Mandatory insurance purchase with "fines" will require a new bureaucracy to track the "fines", and the Americans. We want health care reform, and we need a check on the various tracking techniques and surveillance already in place. So, involving the Insurance business is not the only way to obtain health care, and mandating with fines is a poor solution to an important effort by this administration.
Stop the 'fines" for uninsured in Health Care Reform
Dear Representative
All Americans want "health care". All Americans don't think "health insurance" is the necessary ingredient to get health care. Insurance is a "business" where the primary function of the employees is to determine which of their 'insured" should not get health care treatment reimbursed at any particular time. It is a flawed assumption that economic punishment in a "fine" leveled at Americans with no "insurance" coverage will get them either "insurance" or "health care". Since "Health care" is not synonymous with the "health Insurance." business, and should not be misconstrued as such, the health care bill for America should include a single payer option to obtain direct treatment when ill or injured. Treatment should include inexpensive nutritional supplements, homeopathy, Massage Therapy, Chiropractic, acupuncture, mid-wifery, dental care, psychological treatments as well as pharmaceutical prescriptions, among others.
With adequate personal income levels that would purchase the "health care' needed, there never would have been the vast numbers of Americans without dental or health care. The billion a day budget allocated for a any gigantic military presence or war in a countryside across the ocean needs to be decreased by the amount needed to obtain direct health care in a single payer system for Americans.. The business of killing potential enemies benefits only the corporate military complex, and is a less desirable expenditure of money than even the health "insurance" business
We petition to have a health care bill passed which funds health care, not necessarily insurance companies, and which is non-profit and less expensive for the country since it removes the massive costly "red tape" bureaucracy existing specifically to validate and to deny treatment payment. We petition to have health care available that includes less expensive natural treatments, supplements as well as pharmaceuticals, and can be used by anyone who needs treatment without the bureaucracy of "validating'. We want treatment options which can be obtained from any health care practitioner and from a wide range of modalities of care. We have adequate money for this when we stop funding the building of roads through forest lands that benefit only the profit making of Oil companies, and reallocate the recent funding for NASA expensive rockets created to "spray aerosol chemicals" in the sky which "make glowing clouds". We prefer not to develop "spraying rockets" that may really be part of a indiscriminate biological weaponry arsenal?
