The Senate vote on DADT repeal clearly demonstrated who supports justice and equality, and who supports prejudice and discrimination. We should thank those who voted to repeal DADT and end this unconstitutional law which only serves to perpetuate the scientifically unsupportable prejudice it was designed to indulge.

We also need to remind those who opposed fairness and equality that their votes will be remembered by history, and they will have another chance to join the majority of Americans who oppose this unconstitutional law.

Please join me in thanking those who stood up for fairness, and in asking those who opposed farness to reconsider their vote for next time.

Also, please sign every other petition you can find which calls for the repeal of this institutionalization of prejudice, and contact your representatives by phone, letter, or in person, and urge them to end this dehumanizing law as soon as possible.

Thank you for your support.

No excuses. Repeal DADT.

Greetings,

The Senate vote on DADT repeal clearly demonstrated who supports justice and equality, and who supports prejudice and discrimination. We would like to thank everyone who voted to uphold the American values of equal rights and justice for all.

Prejudice and discrimination have no place in the laws of a country dedicated to the proposition that all are created equal, and where equal rights are intended to be unalienable. The only purpose DADT serves is to perpetuate the dehumanizing, unconstitutional, scientifically unsupportable prejudice it was designed to indulge.

To those who voted to continue legal prejudice and discrimination, your excuses do not change the fact that you voted to support prejudice and discrimination. Studies since 1957 have demonstrated the only excuse for this discrimination is scientifically unsupportable prejudice. You either support that prejudice or you oppose it. You will have another chance to correct this mistake in the near future. Please reconsider, and vote for fairness and equality next time. History will remember.
