Corporations in Stamford CT currently have the ability to vote. They vote on their own property taxes and in fact control the Harbor Point Infrastructure District. There are no individual taxpayers that can vote on taxes in that district. Community involvement in the development is sorely lacking. Remind them it is government of the people, by the people not corporations. Residents in the district are not able to vote, only the corporations that own the buildings and land.
