Paid sick days for DC restaurant workers are simple common sense. Right now, thousands of DC restaurant workers don’t get paid sick days. No time off means sick workers are more likely to serve you food - why put your health at risk?  Paid sick days:
- Protect public health, reducing the chance that sick restaurant workers can make their customers sick
- Protect workers, ensuring that no one has to lose their job or lose income because of an illness or a child’s doctor appointment
- Boost businesses, making workers more productive and preventing lost productivity from employees passing disease around the workplace

Tell the Mayor and the City Council that DC should require paid sick days for restaurant workers so we can have a healthier city. What are we waiting for?!
