Pit Bulls are statistically the most abused dog in the United States.  Many are bred for fighting and the smaller, less defenseless ones are used as bait.  These dogs are naturally territorial and can attack when PROVOKED or if they or their owners are being threatened.  However, that is the nature of almost all living things.  Pit Bulls are highly misunderstood and with plenty of love and affection, they are known to be some of the most loyal dogs.  Please vow to report any Pit fighting rings you may know about and help to stop this terrible abuse.
