The City of Lewiston and the Lewiston Library Foundation have accumulated approximately $3.2 million dollars over the past five years to be used for a larger library facility. The $800,000 loan from the City's Sanitation Dept fund will allow the library to bid Phase I of the project (first floor) and take advantage of the currently favorable bid climate.
