A Citizen World Peace Agreement
Greetings, Vision of Idealistic Citizen Everywhere
"Peace requires activism, education, conversation and example. It does not come from by hope or desire. We set the stage for peace and reconciliation for all children.
"We the People" from now on can give peace a voice and a face and persue a real opportunity to cultivate peace as a strategic national policy objective. All we have to do is to contact Congress and ask our House Representatives to support U.S. Bill H.R.808, to establish a Department of Peace. This will set forth the mission to develop policies that promote national and international conflict prevention, non-violence intervention, peaceful conflict resolutions, and structured conflict mediation. On July 4,1776 The Second Continental Congress unanimously declared the independence of thirteen colonies, and the achievement of peace was recognized as one of the highest duties of the new organization of free and independent states. Peace will require greater understanding and respect for differences within and across bounderies. A Department of Peace and World Peace is not in vain if we think about our children and grandchildren. We have to remember that there is no way to peace. Peace is the way. I www.voice-consensus.com for a Department of Peace to be dedicated to peacemaking and the study of conditions that are conducive to both domestic and international peace.
