Prohibition Of Cannabis-Enough is Enough

As you may have seen, Marijuana use is not going to end any time soon. It hasn't started recently either. I'm not a wealthy person, nor am i a smart person or highly educated individual, but what i do know is that Marijuana is good for many things. For years i used it, it was my therapy, it relaxed me, helped me think, helped me enjoy life again. Marijuana is a safer recreational alternative as opposed to Alcohol. Deaths by Alcohol each year, more than 100,000. Death by Marijuana since the dawn of time,0. As i was saying, i used Cannabis for years untill i was placed on probation for a charge unrelated to cannabis or any other "illicit" substances. So, my Cannabis use had to stop because of the urine tests which are a violation of the 4th amendment, but that's another arguement. Do you realize the jobs Marijuana could create if it was packaged and regulated industrially on the same level as tobacco? Potentially millions all over our great land.
Do you realize the tax money we'd make? Let's face it, if Cannabis were legal, it would be a top seller at your local conveinence stores, next to the Marlboro cigarettes and the New York Post. Do you understand the drug dealers that would be taken down? There would be less drug trade which ultimatley means less violence. That also means that it would be less available to minors as it would be regulated like tobacco or alcohol.
Marijuana decriminalization would release many offenders which means less funding to justice programs. It also means the subculture crossing over to the mainstream, becoming just as socially accepted as a few pals enjoying ales while watching a New York Yankees game, it means dying and sick people not having to suffer though the justice system for inhaling some Cannabis. Because, be honest with your self, is smoking weed a big deal? Because the stuff they teach kids in health class these days, in all honestly is a huge crock. Because Marijuana is illegal, it forces people to use other drugs that leave the body faster that are more hardcore, just because Marijuana metabolites linger in the body longer than the hardest of the hard drugs such as Cocaine and Opiates. Why can a man drink a beer and be within the law, but not enjoy a safer alternative? But if he did take a few hits off a joint, be prosecuted like he was smoking crack.
This is total madness on our countries part. Many Americans agree with me, most of the world does. HELP OUR ECONOMY, FREE VIRTUALLY INNOCENT PEOPLE, LET US ENJOY A SAFER ALTERNATIVE TO ALCOHOL. PLEASE, we ARE a government of the people, let the record show that WE MUST BE REPRESENTED AS A PRO MARIJUANA COUNTRY, contrary to populaur belief by the other half of the country. PRESIDENT BARRACK H. OBAMA, WE AS AMERICANS, AND I AS AN AMERICAN URGE YOU TO STRONGLY THINK ABOUT THIS ISSUE, AND REALLY CONSIDER IT, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A PEOPLES PRESIDENT, AND IF YOU ARE DOING YOU'RE JOB, WHICH IS REPRESENTING THE PEOPLE.
