Marriage is a right that ALL people have the right to. Gay marriage should be legalized everywhere. I started this petition because I believe that Texas needs to make it legal for any two people to be unified in marriage. It is not right for any person to be denied of their civil or human rights.

Who is Gov. Rick Perry or any governement official for that matter to say that two people can't marry. Love doesn't see gender, ethnicity, race or religion.

Dear State Elected Officials,

Love doesn't see gender, ethnicity, race or religion. It is your right as a human being to be able to marry any person you wish. It is unethical and unjust to deprive any two persons the right to marry. The fact that gay marriage is illegal in this state and in most other states only produces more hate and bullying in this country. Marriage should not be something that is voted on, it should just be there for all people.

I am appalled and ashamed to live in a state that doesn't support gay marriage. I will do all that is in my power to see that this wrong is righted.
