In US,  corporations have created for themselves $1 trillion dollars in earnings as 6 million manufacturing jobs were cut in the past ten years.

Many corporations pay little or no tax, and thus do not make a contribution to the US economy. The level of unemployed people in the US, largely due to cheaper labor abroad, means that the tax base is further reduced. A tax penalty for outsourcing jobs needs to be imposed on US-based corporations in order to secure revenue for vital goods and services, to protect working people from shouldering the burden, and to maintain stability.
