It's important because these acts, if they go into effect, will take away the 1st Amendment as we know it. It will forever change what freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom of assembly...even online, and so on mean. If these bills pass, it sets precedence to take away other rights.

Let our government know that we won't stand for this.  They are targeting the wrong people.  Target the actual hackers, don't punish the rest of us for the wrong doings of the few.
