Don't let this be Noe and Anita's last Christmas Together!

Don't let this be Noe and Anita's last Christmas Together!

The Issue

Noe Parra Manrique, an honest, and hard-working, single father  longs to only care for his 6-year-old, US citizen daughter Anita. Noe migrated to the United States as a teenager and has been in pursuit of the “American Dream” ever since. He works day in and day out to make ends meet and ensure Anita’s future here in the U.S.

On February 5, 2013 a police officer pulled over Noe for missing a screw on his license plate, and he then took Noe into custody at Ocean City police station for driving without a license. Within an hour ICE arrived and transferred Noe to a detention center in Maryland.

Although Noe has never been involved in any criminal activity, he was interrogated for 8 consecutive hours--- After a background-check, officers found that Noe has no criminal record the entire time he has resided in the U.S.

An intelligent 6-year-old girl, with a bright future is faced with the difficult situation of possibly being separated from her father. Especially in light of the new Parental Interests Directive issued by DHS, there is no reason why Noe, a man of outstanding moral character should be uncertain about the days he has left to spend with his daughter, for whom he is the primary caretaker.

Noe has a final hearing to decide his case on March 25, 2014.

Please sign and ask Noe's State and Federal Representatives to show his written support for Noe so that Noe may remain in the United States with his daughter.
