This petition is important because Alex Wullaert is a criminal who should not get away with his crimes of animal abuse, neglect, and inhumanity. He deserves the maximum punishment available. He killed his adopted dog Desmond, by strangling him and then throwing his lifeless body into a plastic bag and discarding it in the woods near a lake. Wullaert has another dog in his possession and also a small child at home. Do you not think that if he did this once, he isn't capable of doing it again? What if the next time it's his child? Why would we let someone so obviously sick and demented go free back into the community where he could possibly do much harm to others?
