Jose Librojo and Gilbert Librojo are valuable members of a parish church. Gilbert and Jose spend many hours doing volunteer work for the Church, and are part of the Filipino community. Gilbert is married to a legal permanent resident who is eligible for citizenship this November. Jose has an approved employment based immigration petition with a current priority date, but unable to proceed with adjustment of status because of his deportation order stemming from their family's denied asylum application.
They both came here in their teens, Gilbert at 16 and Jose at 15, and went to school in the Bay Area. They have both been productive members of society since then, Gilbert working as a night receptionist in a hotel in the city, and Jose as a Dental Assistant and an X-Ray Technician in a dental office. They have paid their taxes, and between the two of them bought a home. Their lives were built here. Deporting them would be an injustice for these two individuals who have not done anything wrong, except contribute back to the country they love and support.
Moving back to the Philippines would create unnecessary hardships to them and their whole family. Displacing them from their home would cost mental trauma and and mental anguish. Both of them have plans to create a family, and that plan has been put on hold.
Please help Jose and Gilbert Librojo, because everyone deserves a chance at happiness, and safety and a peace of mind.
