People are dying because of the rampant drugs shortages in this country. There are over 260 drugs in shortage and one of the most serious shortage involves DOXIL which is used to treat ovarian cancer, multiple myeloma and Kaposi's Sarcoma. DOXIL has been largely unavailable since July 2011. J&J and its company, Janssen Product LP, say DOXIL will not be available until December 2012 AT THE EARLIEST. A year and a half in the life of a person with advanced cancer is too long to wait for a chemotherapy that works.
