Information is the key. Doctors are still prescribing Premarin drugs to thier female hysterectomy and menepause patients because they are not aware of where it comes from or how these horses are treated. They are also unaware of the many alternatives. If we share this information with our dr's that may only be one dr, but they may decide not to prescribe that drug anymore and instead prescribe one of its alternatives, that could be HUNDREDS of women not exposed to Premarin. If the demand for Premarin drops, the need for Premarin mares drops as well! You can go to www.Premarin.org to print out info on Premarin, the horses, and alternative medications! Lets decrease the damand for these drugs!
