The Issue

I'm so sick and tired of all of this. It has been 5 months since they took my fiance away from me. I was around 6 months pregnant. Now, I'm taking care of my two week old daughter, by myself, with a little help from family. This is a job for a mother and a FATHER too. Why in the hell is immigration allowed to do this to people? It is just rediculous to me. Why are they allowed to cause this emotional damage on families? Now my fiance is back in El Salvador, a country that deals greatly with poverty. He works but makes no money. We're both just completely stressed out because he is not allowed to come home. This is the first child for both of us, and he has missed so many things already. She's beautiful, our little Aleecia, she's gorgeous! All I want is to be together, me, my fiance, and Aleecia, the way it should be, the way it's SUPPOSED to be. I'm so hurt, I'm so confused, I'm so... just... so... torn up inside. I just want him to COME HOME! I do not understand WHY these things are allowed to happen. All people are equal, NO MATTER WHERE, we come from! This is NOT right, not at all. This NEEDS to change! Not tomorrow, not next week, not in 3 years, but NOW, right NOW.

From depression to anxiety I feel it all. To all of you who don't care about immigrants or their families, that's fantastic, keep it to yourself. You don't know what you're talking about until you have to go through it. Nelson and I have a daughter, Aleecia. She was born 8-12-09. So, because immigration, I gave birth to her without Nelson by my side. All I want is for Nelson to come home to Aleecia and I. But, he's got a 10 year bar. This is my story.
