People should not be robbed of their right to vote and have their say in electing who rules them.

It is my belief, that the Government announced on 7th February, 2012, headed by the former Vice President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan Maniku, is a Government formed through a coup and one that is in breach of the Constitution and the laws of Maldives. 

It is therefore my sincere request from you,to announce that you do not accept this unlawfully established government and to request for a democratically elected government to be reinstated through free and fair elections.
