PLEASE HELP STOP RACISM! This not a petition to bring anyone down and it is not a petition specific to anyone in particular, this petition is for everyone, no matter the race, color or nationality! The reason for creating this petition, as described below, is just a small drop in the sea of things that are wrong with humanity! It is an example of cruelty and racism that exist today and it just so happened that this particular example touched a part of me that evoked the creation of this petition!

Recently, BTA endorsed an Armenian-American candidate, Armond Aghakhanian, in the 2013 local school board race. A voter, whose name is unknown, called Lori Adams, the President of the Burbank Teacher's Association, and left a very disturbing and racist voicemail about endorsing Armond Aghakhanian for the Burbank School Board.

UNFORTUNATELY THE DISCRIMINATING VOICEMAIL HAS BEEN DELETED/REMOVED AND IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO BE HEARD, BUT WHAT WAS SAID IS KNOWN AND IT DOESN'T MAKE THE HATE AND DISCRIMINATION GO AWAY!!!

Please help stop racism, we live in the 21st century, we are Armenian-Americans and NO ONE has the right to tell us that we are not worthy of an American citizenship or we're are not worthy to run for any type of an office. People who don't know history and who are misinformed, are in no position to critique anyone! Help me, help us, STOP racism...not only for Armenians, but for everyone, everywhere! This has got to come to an end...NOW!
