Help Save Bears in India

Help Save Bears in India

The Issue

In India, sloth bear cubs are poached from the wild and taught to "dance" using a very painful procedure.

These animals perform daily for tourists' spare change, which just encourages the bear dancers to steal more cubs from the forest.

Wildlife SOS has rescued more than 500 of these bears, who now live safe in sanctuaries. Still, 100 bears remain on the streets, and we need your help to save them.

Sign the pledge below and help save these magnificent animals from this cruel tradition!

I pledge to spread the word that wild animals should not be exploited for entertainment.

I will learn all I can about the plight of wildlife in India, and around the world.

I will report wildlife crime, whether while traveling abroad or in my own community.

Thanks for taking action!
