<p><strong>Dairy farmers are facing increased costs of production but are not seeing any increase in the price they are being paid.&nbsp; To make things worse, the milk pricing formulas are vulnerable to manipulation by large dairy companies. &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p><strong>Right now, on average, farmers are being paid less than half what it costs them to produce their milk.&nbsp; Clearly this isn't sustainable.&nbsp; The Department of Agriculture must ensure that dairy farmers receive a fair price for their milk.</strong></p>

<p><strong>If things don't change quickly, we risk losing thousands of dairy farmers.&nbsp; If that happens, huge areas of the United States may be left without any local dairy farms at all.&nbsp;</strong></p>
