The city where I live is being unreasonable by limiting the number of pets allowed per house in the city. My situation is my roommate and I actually live in a double home and now the city is trying to take our money which we are disabled and don't have that kind of cash or force us out of our home because we won't give up our pets which are like our children. It is just the same as having an ordinance limiting the number of kids a family is allowed to have based on their geographic location. This ordinance is discriminatory and gives other residents of the city more rights than others. The only reason that this policy has lasted as long as it has is because no one has had the nerve to stand up to the city officials who think they own not ony the but everyone in it. Now is the time to stand up for change! Please sign my petition and help me put a stop to the discrimination against pet owners in Hagerstown, MD. Remember, individually we may be powerless but when we stand together, many people united with one voice, we can change the world one city at a time!
