Coverage for women at risk younger than 45 for breast cancer screening.

Coverage for women at risk younger than 45 for breast cancer screening.
The Issue
I am a 61 year old woman with a family history of breast and other cancers. I knew this and began Breast Self Exams in my 20s because of it. I also went to the Guttman Institute in NYC for Thermography..heat sensitizing to find tumors which I was forced to pay for myself as I had no coverage from my health provider as I was considered too young to be at risk, despite my family history. Yet and still at the age of 36 I was forced to have a mastectomy and lost my breast to two different types of pre-cancer.
I have a 25 year old daughter who obviously now walks in the same "risky" shoes.. Further, her father died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 45. She and others like her are not given the opportunity to take the proper screening and preventive measures needed because health insurance will not cover the cost of such safe and non-invasive procedures like Thermography and MRIs (Mammography should only be a last resort.) Such screenings would likely save lives and in the long run, certainly a great deal of money for the very providers denying the coverage. If you too think women at risk and under the age of 45 should be granted healthcare coverage for such preventive screening methods, I hope you will sign your name herewith and help me to make it easier for them to get the assistance they need.
