I'm not against helping other countries by any means, but I find it real offensive when a disaster happens right here in our own country and it takes weeks or longer to help. If something happens overseas, the president and other government officials jump and want us to hurry up and send help overseas. We have homeless, starving, unemployed people right here in the US that need just as much help as others. We have our troops overseas fighting for the US, and then come back to the states to be included in the ever increasing numbers of the unemployed, homeless, and hungry. We need to start helping our own first right here, and then we can better ourselves to help others overseas.
