This petition is for illegal immigrants who were brought to the United States as children. Many illegal children grow up are raised as US residents and aspire to live an "American lifestyle" but because of their status in thiscountry they can not pursue their dreams. Many of these children are caught in their late teens and early 20's and deported to a country that is no longer familiar to them and on top of that are banned to come back to this country for 10 years. So this petition is to fight for the rights of these young men and women. They should not be banned from a country for the mistakes of their parents. Yes, its true they could have left when they were 18 because  but would you let your 18 year old go to a country where they know no one and in some cases the customs and language of that country. I'm just asking for a fair trial for these young people they should not be punished if they are contributing to crating a better society. We are a country full of diffrent races and cultures, we should be welcoming , rather then shutting the door to other countries. Please sign so we can give these young men and women a fair chance.

Fair chance for children who grew up in the U.S. brought here illegally by their Parents

Dear Representative

I'm writing because something needs to be done about the young men and women who are brought here illegally as children, and are charged as criminals with a bar from the country once they become of age. There must be an alternative way for these young men and women. Many of these people have been in the country most of their lives. Sending them back to a place they don't know anymore seems to be harsh. Its not their fault they are present in this country illegally so why are they getting such a harsh punishment? My fellow Americans would you let your 18 year old move to a country they know nothing about? I'm guessing most parents would not. The 10 year ban for these young people not only is not right, ITS UNAMERICAN. Something needs to be done for these people that made a life here. Our government shouldn't be taking these people away from a life they are now accustomed to. So I'm asking you to please consider these young people and find a way to give them a chance to gain an American citizenship.
