Free expression, rather it be in the form of clothing, dance, song lyrics or other means is guaranteed by the United States Constitution. To deny this basic right to any person, for any reason, should not be allowed and should be guarded against at all costs. Especially in our schools whose duty it is to teach our children that their basic rights are guaranteed rights. Rights, that the school, and its administrators, will do all they can to defend. Should a school be permitted to deny this one fundamental right to one student today, then how many rights will the school take from all of the students tomorrow?
