Get BP's CEO to go beyond petroleum: Put him in an electric car!

This month, Tony Hayward steps down as CEO of BP, having overseen the worst offshore oil spill in world history. After years of talk from CEOs, presidents and even oil companies themselves about the need to end our addiction to oil, we keep burning more and more each year, from increasingly dirty and dangerous sources.

We cannot end our addiction to oil while we keep driving the cars that use it, and starting this year, mainstream electric alternatives are now available. So we're asking Change.org members to join thousands of Hello Electric members around the world in signing Tony Hayward's goodbye card, calling on him to go beyond petroleum. He's become a symbol of the environmental destruction caused by the oil industry, but we're offering him a way to demonstrate an alternative to that industry and be part of the solution.
