It has come to my understanding that there are hundreds of thousands of petitions going against states' laws against same sex marriages. I will now add onto that number.

Most of my friends, Bisexual, Gay, or Lesbian have been bullied, teased, or even criticized because they believe that love comes in all forms. The Georgia Constitutional Amendment 1 of 2004 was added to the Georgia Constitution, disregarding same sex couples to wed. However, the amendment was challenged on May 16, 2006. It was struck down by a lower court, but two months later, the Supreme Court of Georgia overturned the decision. Today, the amendment still remains as part of the state constitution.

We, the citizens of Georgia, deserve the right to marry the one person we love most, regardless of gender. Don't we all deserve to be happy? You make the decision. I hope you can find the good in yourself and please let us be free to love without being turned down.
