About this Petition Petition Letter

This website is very important for activism, social change and community voices. The members here are enthusiastic about making a difference, and also want to be precise, informed and educated when signing petitions headed to congress and the executive office. For this reason, we need to add some new programming that will allow comments to be made on all pledges and petitions before members sign or agree to pledge. With new programming around the action pledges and petitions that allow discussion, similar to the blogs; informed choices and dialogue can take place before we commit to a detailed legal bill.

Dear Change Makers,

I am writing to inform you of a much needed programming change. This truly valuable site needs to have open dialogue in the form of an open comments discussion board on all petitions and pledges, before people send signatures or pledge support or lack of on senate and congressional bills that often contain legal jargon.

Human activists and non-profit organizations can make mistakes and often do. It will be informative and educational to have open discussion regarding these petitions.

Most importantly, it will more accurately serve as a vehicle for change.

This is inspired by some inaccurate, duplicated and misleading petitions. With additional programming, we the people can solve our own problems.

Please, let's join together to make this one of the most productive social networks on the web.
