The freedom to farm "every herb bearing seed" is the first test of religious freedom. If the U.S. Constitution still works, then the First Amendment ought to protect our fundamental human right to farm the world's most nutritious, healing, useful, potentially abundant, globally distributed, environmentally beneficial & adaptable, agricultural resource -- Cannabis.
The freedom to farm "every herb bearing seed"
Dear People,
With increasing climate destabilization and global broiling by UV-B radiation,it can be said that 'We have nothing to fear but the atmosphere itself.'
How bad do things have to get before all solutions are considered? Does the world's oldest global culture really need permission from a dysfunctional government to exist?
Doesn't the likelihood of synergistic environmental, economic, and social collapse eclipse any rationale for continuation of the counter-productive "drug war" against Cannabis?
Isn't it "criminally negligent" (if not "willful blindness") to induce scarcity of a "strategic food resource" simply because the DEA maintains that they can't tell the difference between industrial hemp and 'marijuana'? This is patently untrue, and compromises the credibility and integrity of our legal system.
How can a "strategic food resource" (E.O.12919) be concurrently listed as a Schedule One drug? Isn't such a gross contradiction a major threat to National security?
We the undersigned -- demand an immediate end to Cannabis prohibition, based on it true, unique and essential value, under the protect of the First Amendment - our freedom of religion.
-- are exercising "essential civilian demand" for Cannabis based on legal protections afforded by dire need, substantive due process and strict scrutiny.
-- will consider any failure to respond as unaccountability for the objective, comprehensive value of Cannabis agriculture, manufacture and trade.
