We have several of the medical marijuana community already in prison or soon to be on prison for medical marijuana.  When patients and caregivers are tried they are not allowed to discuss state law or mention 'medical marijuana' during the trial.  Please free these political prisoners, I list 2 of my personal friends below and encourage everyone to read about their cases.  Patients and caregivers do not belong in jail they deserve to be held in high esteem.

Eddy Lepp, a medical and religious use of marijuana advocate named High Times "2004 Freedom Fighter of the Year," Earlier this month he was sentenced to 10 years followed by 5 years of probation.

Charles C. Lynch is the former owner and managing Caregiver for Central Coast Compassionate Caregivers in Morro Bay.  he is due to be sentenced 11 June 2009.

Medical Marijuana political prisoners

Dear President, Representatives, and Esteemed law makers

President Obama,

You have said that you will stop the raids on medical marijuana in states that have legalized it.  I applaud this and pray you will keep to your word but it is not enough to stop the harassment while patients and caregivers sit in Federal prison or are awaiting sentencing to a Federal prison.
