This petition is to gather signatures to present to a judge to guarantee that animal abuser Albert Coburn is not approved for a Service Dog or any other kind of animal forever.

Albert Coburn, 71 was convicted of 11 counts of animal abuse and prohibited from owning a dog for 3 years due to the tragic situation that investigators found at his residence in March 2010. Investigators said it was the worst and most horrendous ever in New Hampshire history.

One year later, Albert Coburn is using the Americans with Disabilities Act in his pursuit of emotional service dog to be there for him when he has hip replacement surgery in September 2011. According to Coburn's lawyer, Coburn is eligible to apply for a service dog. 

Assistant County Attorney Kate Smykowski has justifiable objections to Colburn's request - noting that he is trying to do anything to get an animal.

Judge Daniel Campiello is considering Colburn's request.
