Why This Is Important

As you might think, President Obama's leadership in the UN Security Council has brought us closer to a world without nuclear weapons.  The most powerful countries in the UN reaffirmed their commitment to "general and complete disarmament under strict and effective international control."; and we'll have to wait and see if it's all talk, summits, and accords for the leaders of those countries to garner political legitmacy and power in the countries, and globally- or will they be real and lasting.  Congress must now show its endorsement of the president by approving the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT), which prohibits nuclear test explosions.

Please, for now, back Obama's UN leadership initiatives

Dear Representative

Hi. Thanx. Goodbye.

Matutinally Yours,
