Federal Mandatory Minimum Sentencing:

WHEN does PUNISHMENT become ABUSE, When does ABUSE become REVENGE, When does REVENGE become INHUMANE and HOLOCAUSTIC?

I missed and finally found my friend 20 years later, only to discover he had been lingering in legal limbo from an extreme tilt in-justice called ... Federal Mandatory Minimum Sentencing. I had to say something because, "THERE COMES A TIME WHEN SILENCE IS BETRAYAL" -Martin Luther King Jr.

For years prisoners, like William Underwood, have been denied access to the courts after making Sixth Amendment challenges to the Application of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines over 23 years ago at trial, sentence and on direct appeal.

Twenty-five years later, the U.S.S.C. now recognizes a need to Repeal, Reform and “Change” the face of federal sentencing. While Mr. Underwood lingers in limbo.

History has a way of correcting its course.

Lessons inform “Change” .

History headed, will not need to be repeated.

I found my friend lingering in legal limbo from an extreme tilt in-justice. Not in a foriegn country but right here in the United States. Rockefeller has been repealed and now it's for FEDERAL SENTENCING REFORM, to repeal mandatory minimums and eliminate it's evil twin, Rico. 

"WE THE PEOPLE" as well as our economy can no longer bare injustice and the financial burden Rico's slippery slope sentencing straps on the back of CITIZENS, to BARE THE TAX BURDEN of over-sentencing enhancement, sentencing factors, and weighty extended sentences, while PRIVATE PRISONS PROFIT but provide us with NO Relief, while POSING as "The War on Drugs."

Mr. Underwood may be the only petitioner in the country who-years before Apprendi-expressly raised and preserved the Sixth Amendment challenge to the Federal Sentencing Guidelines that Booker now recognizes.
