Expedite Implementation of the Credit CARD Act

Stop Republican Obstruction and Protect American Consumers

The Credit CARD Act will institute common sense, pro-consumer reform like requiring advance notice of interest-rate increases, banning the practice of universal default, and protecting young people from unscrupulous lending practices.

Unfortunately, Republican Senators are using procedural tactics to hold up this legislation and prevent us from protecting American consumers in a time of economic crisis. That's unacceptable.
