But the Pentagon is digging in its heels, and the administration is talking about keeping tens of thousands of soldiers in Afghanistan past 2014.

So will the July withdrawal be a credible step towards ending the war or a photo-op? The Pentagon is making its case. Congress is finally becoming more skeptical of the war, and we have between now and the end of June to make sure they push back.

I think we should end the war in Afghanistan and bring the troops home.

President Obama pledged to start bringing troops home from Afghanistan in July. The Pentagon is pushing hard on President Obama to make the July withdrawal as small as possible. Meanwhile, troops are facing catastrophic injuries despite the military's dubious claims of progress.
