Encourage Subway to further their recycling efforts

The Issue

Subway restaurants are almost environmentally responsible. All of their napkins, sandwich wrappers and bags are recyclable. However, they only have trash cans in their stores, and no recycling bins. It's time for subway to step up and not only support the use of recyclable materials, but to make it easy for their customers to actually do so, and provide recycling receptacles in all of their stores.

 

Sandwich chain Subway is implementing a recycling program, switching from conventional napkins, cutlery and plastic cups, and reducing gasoline use in an effort to minimize its impact on the environment, according to a report published in The Wall Street Journalhttp://news.mongabay.com/2007/1121-subway.html

Gay rights, right to life and drug war issues should be regulated at the state level. End the war for oil, start a war on poverty, give back to your community, we're all one.
