Birth control is a preventative measure: it prevents pregnancy. But the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops is trying to get contraception re-classified in order to stop it from being covered.

The Department of Health and Human Services is feeling the pressure, but we can't let birth control insurance go the way of abortion coverage in health reform. Religion can have a place in a woman's personal decision about contraception, but it should have no role in making medical policy.

Tell HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius not to bow to ideological pressure and to keep birth control coverage safe.
