Update from Jose's wife, Jeresia:

Jose's case was reopened! What they said could not be accomplished has been. Jose has court again on 3/22/12 in Orlando where he hopes to obtain prosecutorial discretion. This would administratively close his pending deportation case, but does not grant his a status change.

However, if this occurs, and pending the implementation of the new process change Obama recently announced, Jose may be able to stay with his family while he attempts to adjust status. The fight is not over but we are winning little by little!

Jose is the father of 2 U.S. citizen children with his wife. Their second daughter was born 8 weeks premature and requires constant medical care and the support of both Jose and his wife. If he's deported, he will be separated from them, as well as his wife's 3 older U.S. citizen children, who love and miss him.
